You said it would take only a month for the competition of Love vs hate to be judged, but its been OVER 6 months. That's pretty rude.
You haven't even been updating the journals to keep everyone in the loop.
Patience wheres thin VERY quickly!
If you want people to go into your competitions, then keep your side of the bargain up and judge the contestants and announce a winner!
Yeah we are all busy in life, but if you can't handle it, then DON'T create a group and DON'T create contests.
It's plain and simple.
